One Minute Halacha is built to respect your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what we store and why. It is a working draft for the private beta and will be reviewed by counsel before public launch.
Your learning activity: which lessons you've listened to and completed, quiz attempts and scores, bookmarks, your streak, and your reminder preference. We do not ask for your name, and anonymous accounts have no email attached.
Progress is tied to an account created for you automatically the first time you open the app. It is stored securely on our servers (Supabase) so your streak and history are there when you return on this device.
By default you learn anonymously — there is no email, password, or profile. That means your progress lives with this device's account. Signing out of an anonymous account can make its progress unreachable, so we warn you before you do.
Lesson audio and text are provided for your personal learning. We log basic, non-identifying usage (for example, that a lesson was started or completed) to improve the experience. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
You are in control. You can reset your progress at any time, or permanently delete your account and all of its data, from Settings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
