One minute הלכה halachah, שיעור shiur number 15. So, what is the proper סדר seder in terms of אשר יצר Asher Yatzar and על נטילת ידים Al Netilat Yadayim? So, we mentioned before that the first thing you should do after you say מודה אני Modeh Ani is you should be most whatever, you should go and immediately go straight to go wash your hands, נטילת ידים netilat yadayim, because, like the זוהר Zohar says, we want to get that רוח רעה ruach ra'ah, the impure spirit, off us as quickly as possible. So now, what you do is you go and wash your hands three times on each side, but that's not for נטילת ידים netilat yadayim yet. That's just to get the רוח רעה ruach ra'ah. Then that's At that point, that's when you should go to the bathroom. If you have to go to the bathroom, which the average person probably does, you go to the bathroom, and then after you go to the bathroom, then you go and wash three times on each hand again, a second time. And this time is for על נטילת ידים Al Netilat Yadayim. Like we said before, you can't wash נטילת ידים netilat yadayim, make a ברכה berachah when you still have to go to the bathroom. So now you've already gone to the bathroom. Now you wash three times on each hand. Now, then you go outside the bathroom, and you make the ברכה berachah of על נטילת ידים Al Netilat Yadayim. That's your ברכה berachah for obviously washing your hands, and then you make the ברכה berachah of אשר יצר Asher Yatzar on the fact that you went to the bathroom. Very important order of operations. Now, another important הלכה halachah, it's very important to rinse your mouth out or brush your teeth because you're using your mouth for קדושה kedushah and words of תורה Torah, so they shouldn't be smelly.
